New Breed is a brother and sister team originally from Boston. They currently live in Los Angeles as members of gospel Hip Hop pioneers “The Tunnel Rats”. With two full length releases, “Stop the Music” and “Nine”, Macho and Elsie show us that their purpose is to uplift as well as to challenge. Some say their specialty is finding the perfect blend of speaking truth and making dope Hip Hop music.

Hike start time
Registration begins at 10:30 a.m. and closes at 12:30. Make sure you’re there in plenty of time to register, pick up your t-shirt, and get ready to hike. The first hike will start at 12:30 p.m., with staggered starts after that. You will be hiking for about 2 hours, depending on your route.
After you finish
After you finish hiking, you can rest for awhile before the concert starts. Grab a bite to eat at the concession stands, buy a CD or t-shirt from one of the bands, or just hang out for a bit until the concerts start.
When is everything over?
The concert will go until 6 pm, so if you need to plan for a ride, you can get picked up then. By 7 pm everyone must be out of the park. You shouldn’t plan on public transportation unless absolutely necessary (it’s complicated), so make sure you plan ahead how you’re getting to and from the Blue Hills Reservation.
